Happy Resurrection Sunday, Saints and Aints! God is good ALLATAHM and ALLATAHM God is good! Yes!
I love Easter, because we get to give Jesus extra praise. But also because it is a day for us to show out everywhere with fashion. It’s like the fresher we are, the closer we are to Him. And Black folks? Well, we step out with a mission to slay people within a 5 mile radius.
The First Couple wasn’t playing with none of us on this Holy Sunday when they stepped out of the White House looking like right. I love it.
Yessss Commander-in-Chief of FRESH! President Obama and First Lady Michelle came through with the earth-tone realness and I’m loving it. Between his cream-colored suit and her cream pumps (COME ON, PUMPS!), I’m getting what I need from these two! Plus, Aunty Shellie’s hair is fried, dyed and laid to the GAWDS of fierce. She doesn’t disappoint.
And there’s something very Chicago about this look. They look like they’re ready to go to a Stepper’s Set, preferably at Club 7. SO CHI THAT YOU THOUGHT THEY WERE BASHFUL!
You can’t outdo Black people, especially on Easter. All over the world, our FRESH is unrivaled. I love us!

Jesus wore a cloth on the cross and some beat up sandals with a humble robe for most of his life. Please stop using god as an excuse for excessive vanity.
