I’m Done for the Year
This year, I had 50 speaking engagements, took 114 flights, and flew 154,000 miles. I LOVE what I do and I am blessed beyond measure and 2017 has been an incredible year for me. I was the kid in the candy store. As you’re eating ALL the candy, you are having a blast. And then you get home and your stomach is all “Ma’am you did the most.” That is why I am currently running on fumes and I’m tah’d AF. I did too much and my body is like “Sit your ass down!” And I realize I am truly done because I have zero bandwidth for couth right now.
So. 2018. I’m saying more NOs so I can focus and get back to creating and writing. I missed writing this year. Facebook statuses were the place I wrote the most, not my blog. I wanna get back to writing. I need to write book 2. And I’m starting a podcast, as well as other things.
Anyway, I’m done. My email autoresponders are up. I’ll be on social media but dassit. I won’t be answering emails. And I’ll be getting my life in my Auntie Robe.
BYE!
P.S. If you email me about that edits and additions to that database, I WILL cuss you out. There’s a Google form RIGHT THERE. wtf. I need adults to listen to instructions.

You are indeed awesome. 🙂
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed you in 2017, but I’m happy and relieved to hear that you’re getting some down time and taking care of yourself. Enjoy your well-earned rest in your gorgeous Auntie Robe. Happy Holidays!
I just started following you after reading your thoughts from a friend. You know this and don’t need me to say it – but you ROCK – and I need to say it. Get’em girl. Preach and keep us in line.
You did the most & are now entitled to do the least. Enjoy your holidays!
That robe is the absolute best!!!
That robe looks so luxurious. Get your auntie on for the rest of the year. Looking forward to more content here in 2018.
a chenille robe. very auntyish
Found your TED talk, its absolutely amazing and empowering. I am a physician and find myself feeling uncomfortable to bring up difficult truths, and feeling worse later for not doing so. Thanks for giving us the courage to continue speaking up, from your Nigerian Sister 🙂
