Join Me and Girl Scouts River Valley for a RISING TROUBLEMAKER Book Club Event

It is a dream come true to partner with the Girl Scouts River Valley, and this event thrills me cuz I get to bring my book for teens, RISING TROUBLEMAKER, to thousands of girls across the country for a virtual book club on May 15, 2025, from 7 – 8pm ET. And it’s for 6-12th graders.

When I walk away afterwards, I want the girls to know that their voice is needed, what makes them different makes them incredible and that they belong in every room they are in.

Here’s what’s in store:

• A dynamic Q&A with me where you’ll hear personal insights and tips on navigating challenges and embracing your authentic self.
• Inspiration on how to use your voice and actions to spark positive change.
• Strategies to overcome fears, take up space, and live confidently and boldly.

Have a teenager? Sign them up to participate in this event (even if they aren’t a Scout)!

Oh, and the girls will get a custom Troublemaker Patch that the Girl Scouts made for me. 🥹❤️🥹😭 A DREAM!!!

How to Get the Book + Patch

• Girl Scouts River Valleys Members + Non-Members: A copy of the book and patch will be shipped to you upon registration (fees apply). Register by April 27 in order to receive the book and patch for the event.
• Girl Scout Members of additional participating councils (see list below): Check with your council for book + patch distribution details.
• Girl Scout Members of non-participating councils: Purchase the book on your own here or at your favorite bookstore (patch not included)
