AweLuv DEED that: Redesigned Afrobella’s Website
Hey y’all. If you’re reading this before noon, odds are that I’m somewhere making sweet sweet love with my pillow. I was supposed to write about my exciting Sunday but I had to finish what I was doing. What was it? Well I’m glad you asked (“Sharrap!” to everyone that just said “I ain’t e’en ask you nothing. RUDE. Anyway…).
So y’all know I’ve been FUNemployed for the past 2 months. Well I decided to take matters into my own hands and start doing what I’m good at (and LOVE) for a living. I’m doing social media consulting to make folks’ eLives rock all types of socks (particularly argyle). Well I WAS doing that for a living before at my old gig, but it was for organizations. I was training orgs on using social media to further their mission. So I decided to work for myself so I can continue my shoe habit and do it not just for orgs, but for individuals too. So here I is am. Nothing makes me frown quicker than a website that makes your eyes cross. And I’ll even admit. My old blog wasn’t too friendly. It was all dark and cave-like. No ma’am. I have to practice what I preach so I did this one myself.
Antywho (as I digressed by a whole paragraph)… I was up late putting the finishing touches on my girl Afrobella’s new site! Worked uber hard on it and we relaunched it this morning at 7am. Check out her fresh new look.
AweLuv Inc. (my social media consulting business) is here to stay! Oh, and its own website is coming. I just haven’t had the time to do it because I’ve had other clients to work on. In the meantime, you can sign up for the AweLuv Inc. newsletter below. This is different that subscribing for my blog. It’s a separate thing for people who want to get social media tips/tricks. I will also be having webinars from time-to-time (if you’re one of the folks from Twitter who emailed me about being interested in my webinars, sign up here too). This newsletter will make sure you get information on when I have them. Oh and don’t worry. No spam. Nor will I be sending you a trillion emails. Maybe once a month. Possibly twice. I’m not a fan of being eStalked either. So yes, GETCHU A PIECE!
sings* Have a blog by me, baby, be an awesomenaire. *urban youth alert*
P.S. If you’ve noticed you haven’t been getting my posts in your Readers, please SUBSCRIBE again. My feeds have been playing bald-headed games. I think I fixed it though.
You did really good over on AfroBella, really cool look.
Afrobella’s site looks great. Your site looks great. I really want you to work on mine but I keep spending my blog upgrade budget on shoes. Oops.
Question – now that you have successfully completed the transition from Blogger to WordPress and lived to tell, do you offer that as part of your services? Because I need to escape from the slavery of Blogger + Intense Debate with a quickness!
