Our Favorite Cook, Auntie Fee, Was on Steve Harvey’s Show. I LIVE.
You KNOW how much I love me some Auntie Fee! She of phrases such as “something sweet for the mufucking kids” and “kids and fat people like a lot of cheese.” She got internet fame from posting videos of her cooking various heart-clogging foods. Her son, Tavis, is behind the camera and he gets on her good last nerves so she drops a couple of 4-letter words pretty regularly and it is all gold. Because she’s so earnest with it.
Anywho, Auntie Fee was on Steve Harvey’s show yesterday and she had me hollering.
Get into Fee’s hair. It is fried, died, laid to the side and looking GOODT. OWWW! I had a similar haircut my sophomore year of college. Hair so sharp it could cut paper.
I love how it didn’t take Auntie Fee long to cuss. It ain’t her fault that Tavis “vexes” her so bad as she tried to make her some hoe bread. She managed to do it in between talking to Steve about the man he tried to hook her up with (“The only thing that was gorgeous on him was his shoes. I liked his shoes… You owe me another date.”) and throwing too much of everything into the bowl (that is not a tablespoon of salt or baking powder, ma’am).
But I didn’t start cackling til she got mad that she had to make the bread on the show herself. “This shit shoulda been done” and she pointed to her brother June, whose fault it was, apparently. Because why should they bring her to cook on the show? What took me OUT was “I don intercoursed it up.” It took her saying it 3 times for STEE to even get it.
Auntie Fee just blessed me. Why have I not been using this phrase my whole life? For the times when you can’t say “fuck” outright like when the FCC is watching, why not use “intercourse.” This woman is a genius. I love her.
All that cussing. Steve was all “Welp. my show is over.” That had me cracking up. You gotta know Auntie Fee ain’t got no filter. Those censors were working OVERTIME.
I want her to be on his show every week for a cooking segment. I mean it. I NEED that to happen. I’d tune in just for those because Auntie Fee is everything.

thanks for the translation. i did not get “intercoursed”… i was like, what????
But what was she cooking though? I followed it to the end and everything…I have questions about that dough thown in a pan of grease??? Is this to be continued? LOL
That mess had me in tears including Steve’s fare-thee-well speech at the end!! Her segments need a 15 second delay – 3 seconds to mash the beep button and 12 seconds to stop the tears and shoulder shaking.
*real tears*
Hmmm….can’t say I’m feeling this person. Her early YouTube vids had a folksy charm, but shortly thereafter, turned vulgar and increasingly self-aware as Fee and company played too hard for the laughs. Calling her son a nigger was the final straw for me.
Fee could take some pointers from Jimmy Kimmel’s Aunt Chippy, who manages to make every moment seem spontaneous.
Agreed. It’s too contrived now.
im just tryna get over the apron…hmmm circa 1980 new edition kings dominion trip.
This seems really Sapphireish to me. Sapphire: Angry Black Woman always cussin’ and emasculating a man aka her grown ass son. It’s really cringe worthy.
that hair is FABULOUS
What an embarrassment. Where is the humor in ignorance?
People criticized Good Times back in the day but at least Flora had standards. As soon as we take a few steps forward, somebody like this clown Auntie Fee clown steps into the limelight. Are we that desperate for a laugh?
I agree with you, we don’t need another negative stereotype like this person on TV.
she is funny on youtube.
They should have Auntie fee and gordan Ramsey….together on a show
