Oprah on the Cover of Forbes Gave Me Tea for my Fever!
So ummm, by now, you’ve probably seen the picture of the FORBES 400 cover. If you haven’t, well take a look. I SAID LOOK!
Whatchu see before you is Oprah Winfrey, a Black girl from Mississippi, who had to sleep outside her daddy’s house because she was too dark… STANDING between Warren Buffett and Bill Gates, two of the richest men in the world. With a tag over her head that says “Richest People in America.”
WHOOOOO my eyes. They are sweating like Fantasia as she hits a high note! This here is greatness and I cannot take it. My heart is full and I am INSPIRED! This picture is giving me ALL the gahtdamb tea for my fever and I’m overjoyed.
Someone who looks like me is on the cover of Forbes, letting the world know she is a force.
If you look at the WHOLE cover (the other flaps are the inside), you’ll see how awesome this is. It’s nothing but Oprah and a bunch of important looking white people.
The only other person I even recognize in the pic is Jon Bon Jovi and his feathered coif. His hair be LAIDT like an untouchable trust fund ALLATAHM and I love it. But that’s besides the point.
Also, if you notice, she’s the only one in a color (THE COLOR PURPLE! HAAAA!! *high fives myself*). that pops. Everyone else is in black or navy. Mother Oprah said “NAWL! I will wear the color of royalty and y’all will deal” and she was right.
Chile, Oprah is a force to be reckoned with and she stands as the only Black, nay BROWN, face here and she’s a woman and she has kinky hair and she is my reflection and I am verklempt. Y’all talk amongst yourselves. I’ll be over here doing this:

I also noticed that Oprah’s the only woman standing (and, I peeped that woman who allowed herself to be photographed sitting on a man’s lap. Hmmm). Oprah’s face says, “I’m here, and I own this moment”. She betta werk!

COprah is the only woman there on her own accord. Melinda Gates is next to Bill Gates, right inside the fold and Laura Arrillaga-Andreessen is sitting on the lap of her husband Marc Andreessen.

Outside her moms house on the porch, not dad’s. Remember, the lady who owned the house favored her lighter sister, the mothers other child. Minor yes. But she tells the story on her Masterclass, I believe. It replays on XM often.
Did anyone see the subtle shade Bill is giving Melinda and how he just gravitates to all that is the greatness of Oprah? He was like babe we hugged in our wedding photos this is Oprah right here excuse me whilst I get my cheese on.
