I See You, Overwhelmed One
I see you. The one who is juggling 1,000 things at once. Not feeling like they are doing any of it particularly well. Friend, sister, daughter, colleague, boss, partner, mother, HUMAN. You’ve been holding it together by a thread and your shoulders have stayed by your ears. Those same shoulders feel the weight of 1,000 different pressures.
You forgot the last time you took a deep breath. Or paused to just BE. You’ve been DOING. And feeling like you’re falling short. You feel like none of it is enough.
These generational curses you’re trying to break been tryna break you. You may bend, but you won’t break.
I see you. I feel you. I am you. You are winning the war even though the battles feel long. You are standing. You are doing your best. You’re not okay right now and that’s okay. Cuz storms often come before calm. Dusk before dawn. Dark before light.
But I see you. And I’m proud of you. ❤️
