I’m Live-Streaming the 2014 Academy Awards Red Carpet
Hey folks! Today is the 86th Academy Awards and I’m excited because Lupita Nyong’o might be going home with an Oscar! COME ON, SOMEBODY! In fact, I have folks alerting me of when that part comes on so I can make sure I’m tuned in.
I like watching the Red Carpet because I’m shallow and I need to see what everyone is wearing. You can watch the Associated Press’ Red Carpet here, if you’re not by a TV, starting at 5:30pm, until 7:30pm EST.

Hey Luvvie,no scandal recap? We need one please.
I’m missing the Oscars this year so I am really depending on you Luvvue. I LOVE the Oscars. I love seeing people, anyone, celebrities dressed up and looking happy. It’s nice. People trivialize it which is crazy to me because it is the actor’s Nobel Peace prize. It is the actor’s scholarship. It is the actor’s Purple Heart because it is the highest award or accolade of the actor’s craft, to me. Yes, Brown people areoften ignored and when they’re recognized, seldom win. But everything, ok, many things are not geared towards Brown people. If I elected to not watch or support the Oscars for these reasons there would be a great many things, too many to name, that I would also have to omit from my life. I ramble too much but this will be the secong Oscars that I’ve missed in almost 30 years. So again Luvvie, I’m depending on YOU!!!
