Ohio State’s Marching Band Rocked this Halftime Show
As an Illinois alum, I really shouldn’t be publicly acknowledging the awesome of Ohio State University’s anything since we’re rivals. Well, it’s more like we hate the fact that they always beat us in football, but lemme stop before my fellow ILLINI accuse me of treason. Either way, right now, I can’t help myself.
I watched a dope video of the OSU marching band during the half-time of the game they played against Nebraska on October 7 and got my ENTIRE life! It was video game-themed and it was the absolute dopest. It’s 9 minutes of awesome and I insist you watch it.
THIS. WAS. EVERYTHING! My fellow 80s and early 90s kids will especially love this, as they hit on Tetris, Halo, Mario Bros, Pac Man and more. Just amazing. And when they did the running horse, I literally fist pumped in glee. This is awesome. OSU’s marching band is about that life and I love it!
Also, peep the shade they threw the University of Michigan by making its’ flag fall at the end. HA!
This show musta taken some serious coordination. I mean DAMB! The different formations and they kept the music going. This takes talent. I’d prolly trip on my feet while walking or forget to play music while concentrating on getting the steps right. This is why I was never in a band. So yes, kudos to the OSU band.

This halftime show adds to the reason why I love my alma mater and the marching band!!! I have always thought the Ohio State Marching Band was one of the most precise and crisp bands around. While they won’t be popping, locking, and dropping, TBDBITL always delivers stellar musicianship and creativity!!
That just made my gamer heart scream with joy.
Best 9 minutes of my life! I fist pumped the ENTIRE time but when the horse galloped I nearly sprained my shoulder. Thanks for that. Brilliant.

Illini consider Michigan and OSU rivals. E’em though the others might not consider us rivals since we’re not that great at sports.

Just made my day and the rest the week. I tried to be in my school marching band that didn’t work out too well so I ran track instead. lol
