700 Posts and 6 Years Later: It’s My Blogversary!
I’m a TERRIBLE house blog mother because yesterday was an important anniversary and I forgot it. But now I am here and I must pay amish… to MYSELF. I’m a Capricorn and my blog is a Leo.
I’ve been blogging for 9 years, but six years ago on August 8, 2006, I put up my first post on a blog that was supposed to be about my grown up life and other random rants I might have. I was a new college graduate and I felt like I had outgrown my Xanga blog so I hopped to Blogspot and created a new site. I called it “Luvvie’s Queendom” (soooo wack) and my first post was so lame! I mean, yeah I’m still lame now but I wear better shoes so sharrap. (-__-)
Anywho, 6 years and 700 posts later, that original wackness has evolved into the ratchet space known as Awesomely Luvvie today, and *Coming to America voice* I AM HAPPY TO BE HERE! In fact, this is my 700th post. And I’m also happy to say I’ve become a wayyy better writer over the years. Reading some of m old posts makes me give myself the side-eye.
In honor of this 6th anniversary and blog birthday of mine, here are 6 things I want my readers to know:
1. Although I might not reply, I read each and EVERY comment you leave me. And I get a huge kick out of it.
II. I’m afraid that one day, y’all gon stop giving a damb about what I write and leave me in the Land of Abandoned Blogs
c. Every time you share or RT my blog or email it to someone, an angel gets to take a sip of Moscato. True story. Look it up on Wikipedia.
4d. The fact that you read this blog means you’re awesome. This is a fact that can’t be debated.
V. I’m actually not tall at all. I just talk big shit.
6. I’ll never stop being thankful for this eSpace that has grown beyond my wildest expectations.

With that being said, let’s drink and be merry. I brought Bailey’s Irish Cream and red velvet cupcakes for everyone. I’ll be the one in the corner dancing like this in celebration:
