I’m Taking One More Big Trip Before Summer Ends
I have thoroughly enjoyed this summer. It’s the closest I’ve had to a “summer break” since like college. I let emails linger, I went PSHT to anything urgent and I shirked more than a few responsibilities as I traveled to multiple countries, rooftopped with my girls and just had a grand old time. I know I still owe y’all my part 2 of my Guide to Planning a Trip to Morocco. That is still to come (with promised giveaway). I told you I was being work-trifling this summer.
It is now September and I’m all but throwing a temper tantrum because I don’t want summer to end. My fall is already super packed and that’s leaving me overwhelmed in advance. I don’t want to have deadlines constantly looming and nights where I’m not sleeping as I recap my favorite shows. I AM NOT READYYYY. But it is happening. It is time.
BUT BEFORE, I have one more trip to take. I’m hitting up 2 continents, 3 countries and 4 cities in 7 days.
Yup. I’m nuts. I did it in June too, with Spain, Morocco and England. Now, I’m doing United Arab Emirates, Thailand and Qatar. What do I have planned while there? A lot of sitting by the pool and sight-seeing, basically. And eating; hopefully a lot.
So yes, ONE MORE JAUNT FOR THE ROAD. I’m leaving today and I’m back on September 10.

Go dune bashing in Qatar… and do not miss the Museum of Islamic Arts — the building alone is worth seeing, but the art is pretty awesomely lovely too. :-}
