You Can’t Outdo Black People: Soul Train Edition
A couple of months ago, I came across this video and the commentary made me laugh SO HARD. I watched it about 7 times in a row and cackled just as much as I did the first time. Since then, it’s been shared on Facebook over 2,000 times. The person behind it is Darell J. Hunt (@darelljsings) and I had to give him ALL THE PROPS! I’ve been obsessed with it since so I had to share it with y’all.
This video is EVERYTHING. My first time slayed was “How you do all this in shoulder pads?” But he kept me howling with “Ain’t been to a single dance class but got on leg warmers. I LIVE!” “Just all kind of good hand geometry.” “She got that new vigorol honey.”

I’m pretty sure I’ve memorized this entire video as many times as I’ve watched it. This is why I now use the phrase “you can’t outdo Black people.” I need him to hurry up and create more videos because I am itching for his foolery!

I got my life every time I watched his vid!!! I can’t get enough of it or Darell. Every time I watched it I heard something else that made me laugh even harder. I had never heard the phrase “hand geometry” but damn it if I knew exactly what he was trying to tell me LOL. You can’t out do Black people summed it right on up!
