Let Love Save You (with Yvette Noel-Schure) – Episode 17 of Professional Troublemaker

We’re wrapping up Archive April with one of my favorite conversations we had on Rants & Randomness before we renamed the podcast Professional Troublemaker.

As we’ve done for the past month, we’re going back into our archives and re-sharing some of our interviews with epic professional troublemakers. Today, we’re sharing one of my favorite interviews from 2019 with my friend, mentor, and powerhouse publicist to the stars Yvette Noel-Schure.

When I say powerhouse publicist, I’m not playing. Yvette is the person behind Beyoncé. She’s been a publicist to Prince, Mariah Carey, Adele, Wyclef Jean. Her resume is insane, but more importantly, she’s just an amazing person. Her heart, her spirit, the way her smile lights up a room. She’s a friend and a mentor and I am so glad we get to share this interview with you again.

By way of introduction, Yvette Noel-Schure is a seasoned, respected industry veteran and one of the top creative executives in the music PR business. She deeply cares for and protects her artists and their creative output, as well as their personal lives. She’s the best kind of advocate to have in your corner.

Yvette gives us a little glimpse into her family, her upbringing, and beautifully shares one of the most painful and personal weeks in her career.

Yet, in spite of the difficult things that have come her way, she is an absolute light. Always smiling. Always maintaining space for those around her.

And at the end of the day, she credits the love in her life – from her husband, her family, and for herself – for keeping her grounded in who she is and maintaining the ability to guide her clients to the highest heights of the entertainment industry.

I love this conversation, and I’m so grateful to have someone like Yvette as part of my group of mentors and friends. Tag us on social and let us know what you think of this conversation.
